  Does God REALLY exist? (An Attempt at an Online Bible Study)

  with the global village now teaching evolution as an absolute fact, and the 'creation museum' making a mockery of the bible, any bible study should begin with this question!

  however, the biggest hinderence to learning truth is clinging to concepts we've accepted as 'truth' without being willing to take a closer look at other possibilities.. i ask that ridiculers have fun on other postings, so that it might be possible to enjoy comparing what we have learned, how we see things- and also share what we have found to be facts-truth!.

  (and i will not "count the time", as promised; that's unimportant to me, anyhow!).

  One reason why religionists stick closely to creationism theory is because it brings them power and control

  on the other side of the table evolution brings them absolutely nothing

  so in a psychological sense which theory would most men rather use to empower themselves and which theory then would they rather debunk and destroy, the answer is obvious

  What kind of changes would you make if you were the President of the WTS.

  i'm just curious, if you could imagine taking control over the jws.

  as an acting president, what specific changes would you make to .

  the organization to make it more approachable, livable and attainable for the general population ?.

  Well it looks like I'm going to have to make some big changes in New York on Saturday, there's going to be some butt kicking, I better wear my army boots

  Birthdays are coming back, Christmas is coming back, every known holiday known to man is coming back, just for starts

  Then I'm going to bring back mini skirts and all enticing and provocative clothing for woman, yes lots of cleavage

  Door to door work gone, all kingdom halls will have recliners with cup holders, a place for a can of beer

  Awake and Watchtower magazines are defiantly gone, instead will study Newsweek and Cosmopolitan, man that Cosmopolitan has some juicy stories in it

  And those Assemblies have to go, far to boring, if I have to go to a big building to sleep I might as well stay at home and sleep on my sofa....sheesh

  Instead will have a once a year beefiest, where everyone brings their own beer and will have all the ladies bring different kinds of pizza

  But of course will have to use that time to discuss the serious conditions that are plaguing mankind right now, a moment of silence please.............................................................

  Well thats all I can think of right now but I still have a couple more days before I leave, I'll add more to the list as I think of them

  My butt is kind of sore from sitting at this computer for an hour, does this ever happen to you and please no butt jokes I've heard them all, I'm a very sensitive about my butt

  History has shown us that the belief in gods or a god were mainly structured and developed on the basis of human ignorance or the lack of knowledge of the world we live in.

  In a counter balance to that known ignorance, scientific discovery and established facts derived from those discoveries has swayed modern man to stop thinking that there are

  invisible but powerful spirits swarming around causing climactic damage to humans and inciting fear to the detriment to the population. It does seem to me and probably many

  others thats it's better for man to live in a world of continuing knowledge and to work with this knowledge with the intent to better the human experience. It also seems in an

  unfortunate way that religious men like the JWS. have utilized and exploited that ancient ignorance and fear to cultivate their own source of power and control, negating the advancement

  of man to better his existence along with it. So the question we have to ask are selfs would it be better to let the gods governed and control us or are we better to do it are selfs ?

  My vote is on the humans.
